Clinical Supervision

Expressive Arts Therapy Online Individual and Group Supervision

My online supervision options are open to students and professionals from a variety of backgrounds. I provide clinical supervision to those working towards applying for Registered Expressive Arts Therapist [REAT], in addition to those working towards the designation of Expressive Arts Therapist-Trauma-Informed [EXAT] or Expressive Arts Coach/Educator [EXA-CE]. Supervision is available to those in related fields within mental health and healthcare, such as play therapists, creative arts therapists, somatic practitioners, and those who are licensed or certified by a professional board and who would like to pursue professional development goals to learn more about expressive arts in clinical practice. Once established, the supervisory alliance is grounded in a collaborative, person-centered approach. The process involves learning, and actively engaging in, strategies and experientials that support growth in knowledge and application of expressive arts therapy practice, in addition to addressing therapeutic dynamics, applying theory in practice, and strengthening awareness of relevant personal, professional, and cultural factors. Participants complete supervisory paperwork and submit requested documents, including proof of malpractice insurance, supervision and adhere to ethical principles for confidentiality, informed consent, and permission to present and discuss client information. Please email me at ari@cvceat.com if you are interested in discussing supervision.
